Let’s learn and take action together. Our democracy begins - or ends - with us.

Grassroots. Nonpartisan. Based in Hamilton County, IN

Our ages and roles differ. Our passion is the same: a desire to protect and strengthen our democracy. We believe America’s democracy is in danger. We also believe that WE THE PEOPLE, not the politicians, are the only ones who can save it.

What we do:

  • Listen to and amplify local voices.

  • Educate to activate.

  • Share stories to inspire understanding and empathy.

  • Foster partnerships over silos. Strength comes through unity.

How we do it:

  • Publish the Voices4Democracy Indiana Substack, which features regular contributors as well as ample “guest authors” who reside in Hamilton County or elsewhere within Indiana.

  • Partner with other local groups to host educational events such as February 2026’s Civics Lab done in partnership with MADVoters, March’s Bad Faith film viewing hosted in conjunction with From Strangers to Neighbors, and the upcoming No Kings Day rally as a member of the Hamilton County Democracy Coalition.

  • Push out “Calls to Action” to make it easier for local citizens to use their voices and their presence to local and federal legislators. These can be found on our Instagram and Facebook pages as well.
