Civics 101 Learning Lab
Join us as MADVoters and From Strangers to Neighbors, partner to offer a two-for-one experience.. MADvoters, a nonprofit advocacy group committed to fair and equitable elections, will offer a “civics 101 overview to help local residents understand how Indiana’s legislative process works. Learn the steps from bill to law as well as where you, the voter/citizen can use your voices to influence pending legislation and make your voice heard. FSTN will provide an overview of the pathways to citizenship to help local residents understand the complexities immigrants face as they try to “do it the right way” in becoming a U.S .citizen.

Democracy Film Series 2026
Join us as we explore and deepen our understanding of the rise of Christian Nationalism, the driving force behind the far right movement and a shift away from democracy. We will show and discuss Bad Faith, a 2024 documentary that outlines the rise of the movement known as Christian Nationalism and its power in dramatically altering the landscape of American politics and the Republican party. We encourage Republicans, Democrats, and Independents to ALL join us . Following the film we will facilitate a post-film discussion on the role of religion in politics.
